The deal would enable Grand River to start packaging the Jynneos vaccine in four months, which is about half the time normally required. However, the deal is not final and could fall through. The Danish company has the only approved vaccine to treat monkeypox, which is spreading rapidly around the world, creating huge demand for treatments and therapies. The company is now seeking international partners to help ramp up supply. Neither company responded to a Bloomberg request for comment.
