Paramount Global and Citi surge after Berkshire Hathaway discloses new stakes

Three of the new positions revealed in Berkshire Hathaway’s BRK.B, -0.34% 13-F filing jumped in premarket trade on Tuesday. Paramount Global’s B shares PARAA, -0.82% bounced 10%, as Celanese CE, +1.52% rose 6% and Citigroup C, -0.38% rose 5%. Investors had already known that Warren Buffett’s investment vehicle had invested heavily in Occidental Petroleum OXY, +5.68%, Chevron CVX, +3.06% and HP HPQ, +1.98% during the first quarter.
