Head of Meta’s Messenger to leave in 2022

Another executive at Facebook parent Meta Platforms Inc. FB, +1.55% is leaving the company. Stan Chudnovsky, who oversaw Messenger since 2018, said he will leave the social-networking company next year. Chudnovsky, 51, who joined Facebook in 2015, said he has no plans to retire. His imminent departure comes several days after David Marcus, who helped develop the forthcoming Diem digital currency, said he was leaving the company to pursue other projects. Marcus oversaw the Messenger service before sliding over to form the company’s blockchain division in 2018.
