: Hasbro CFO to retire

Toy maker Hasbro Inc. HAS, -5.59% on Wednesday said that Chief Financial Officer Deborah Thomas plans to retire. She will hold that position until the company finds a successor, and will stay on as an adviser “for a period thereafter to ensure a smooth transition.” Hasbro said it was looking at both internal and external candidates to fill the role. Thomas worked at Hasbro for 24 years, Chief Executive Chris Cocks said in a statement, helping transform Hasbro from “a toy and game company to a global branded entertainment leader.”
