Former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. GS CEO Lloyd Blankfein told CNBC-TV he would not return to the bank as other former CEOs have done at companies such as Starbucks Corp. SBUX and Walt Disney Co. DIS. Blankfein said he was misquoted in a New York Times article that reported he offered to current CEO David Solomon that he would be willing to return in some capacity. Blankfein said he did offer to help Solomon but not offer to return. Blankfein also said he supported Solomon.
