CNN President Jeff Zucker has resigned from his post after failing to disclose a romantic relationship with a coworker, Zucker himself announced in a message to employees. Zucker said he as asked about a consensual relationship with his closest colleague as part of the network’s investigation of anchor Chris Cuomo’s tenure at CNN, a person he said he had worked with for more than 20 years. “I acknowledged the relationship evolved in recent years. I was required to disclose it when it began but I didn’t. I was wrong,” he wrote. He expressed regret that his tenure was ending in such a way. Zucker joined CNN in January of 2013. CNN parent AT&T Inc.’s stock T, -0.78% was down 0.5% Wednesday.
