Biden blasts Kellogg plan to permanently replace striking factory workers

President Joe Biden on Friday blasted a plan by Kellogg Co. K, +0.95% to permanently replace about 1,400 of its striking factory workers, calling the move “an existential attack” on a workers’ union and its members’ jobs and livelihoods. “I have long opposed permanent striker replacements and I strongly support legislation that would ban that practice,” Biden said in a statement released by the White House.
